They showed up with 2 instead of 3 workers which meant the job took a lot longer than it should have and the overall bill was three times the original estimate. Get a firm quote and or make sure they show with the number of folks the originally suggested.
Well, considering I've been trying for two weeks to get a hold of these folks; no one ever answers the phone - and leaving a message, I guess, is difficult for them to handle, because no one has ever returned my call. Comes across as a lame-old mom-and-pop garbage place. Not. Even. Professional. I wish we could rate these sorts of lousy organizations with zero stars.
This review is long overdue! We used Dartmouth Moving and Storage last summer to get our 3-bedroom home from one town in the Northeast Kingdom to another in southern Vermont. It was a two-day project, and the movers were professional, timely and careful throughout. We had a number of antiques and/or delicate items to move, and the movers took tremendous caution with our belongings. They clearly had extensive experience handling precious cargo. They gave us an accurate quote that they stuck to through the end of the move, and they pointed out ways for us to save money during the process. I have used larger outfits for moves in the past, but this was by far the smoothest experience we've ever had. Thank you, Dartmouth, for making a stressful time easier for us. I highly recommend them and I would use them again in the future if I ever needed to.
